About
Researcher and teacher in wireless sensing, edge computing and applied machine learning.
01Biography
I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering at IILM University, Gurugram. I hold a PhD in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Indore, awarded for work spanning 2021 to 2025 under the supervision of Prof. Abhishek Srivastava.
My doctoral research addressed GPS-free localisation and energy-efficient routing in wireless sensor networks using machine learning and metaheuristic optimisation, with edge computing and IoT security as allied threads. As a visiting researcher at the Western Norway Research Institute I worked on indoor and outdoor localisation and environmental sensing with Prof. Rajendra Akerkar.
Alongside research I teach undergraduate and postgraduate computer science, supervise student projects, and review for ACM and IEEE venues.
